Man, the youth worship team did so great!! I was privileged to play with them, and i know i was grinnin’ the entire time from behind the drums just enjoying watching them worship. One of our youth worship leaders, Michael Dutcher, led so well. I was so encouraged by him, and by everyone for the effort they put in, and know how blessed the church was to be led by that team.

This week we studied from John 8 where Christ says He is the light of the world, so in true bluegrass fashion we brushed the dust off our tambourines, worked on our claps and stomps and did “I Saw the Light”. The church enjoyed it so much, something about being in the South i guess? We had a free Mp3 download of the song up on our website for the church to have and enjoy. All in all a great week with our church and with my momma. How was your Mum’s day?

What an exciting weekend! We are about to kick off our Nick @ Night program (vacation bible school on steroids) for our childrens ministry so this weekend we brought up some of the Nick @ Night dancers to join us on a song. Its great when the church gets to see what an awesome program their kids get to be a part of, and its always fun getting to show them and all their dance moves off!

Whew, what a great service. So exciting to see what God was doing through this weeks Easter service and to see people declare change in their life through the power God gives. We also started our new series Labeled, taking a look at the labels we give ourselves and the labels God has for us, should be a great series. Excited to see more life transformation.

It was a great weekend and a great way to wrap up our Gone Fishin series. We did a Ryan Alexander tune this weekend, Peter, James, and John, to go along with our “fishers of men” theme, and also sang a couple hymns with the church. Some old and some new and it made out for a great time of worship. This week is busy with prep for Easter, The team has been be out each night this week working on our new stage layout for Easter and our next series. Check the tweets for some pictures!
